Dboy also known as Sakhile Dlamini is a young South African artist who write, produce and promote his own music. He started as a poet while he was studying at the University of KwaZulu Natal for bachelor of Education, he was inspired by the like of Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, kendrick Lemar and other big international artists. He has been in some local radio stations including famous Ukhozi fm and Imbokodo FM.

He occupies a lot in media industry, he owns a video production company with three of his university friends called Spiral Motion Pictures and also founded modeling agency called Spiral Modeling Agency. He started music career in 2016 when he met the guy called G-mega (Bhekizitha Xaba) in Pitermariztburg when he was teaching in government school there. He then started mixing his poems and G-mega's rapping while he had taught himself to make beats on FruitLoops. They stated the group called De.eX but thought they still continue with their music separately. Dboy's love for music he is now doing sound tracks for local movies.
